Tacco Rosa

Negromaro rosé wine

A Mediterranean wine inspired by an ancient Salento winemaking technique that involves the immediate separation of the must from the grape skins, giving rise to the region’s distinctive rosé wine.

Its colour recalls the delicacy of rose petals, with bright and refined hues.

On the nose, it reveals intense fruity aromas of cherry, raspberry and pomegranate, complemented by hints of Mediterranean aromatic herbs such as sage, oregano and marjoram, together with elegant floral nuances.

On the palate, it is smooth and well-balanced, supported by pleasant fresh and savoury sensations and a delicately bitter finish, an authentic expression of the grape variety.

The Label

The face of a woman with closed eyes, light auburn hair, loose and tousled by the wind that spreads rose petals, vine leaves and a few hearts...

This is the image of Tacco Rosa represented in a highly original "autochthonous" label, the work of Salento artist Valentina D'Andrea, illustrator, set designer and professor at the art institute.

A label that was awarded the Second-Best Label by the jury led by neuroscientist Vincenzo Russo during the Vinoway Wine Selection 2023.

Like the color of the wine, deliberately light and evanescent, recalling the origins of Salento rosé, Negroamaro Lacrima, also for the label, the intention was to put on paper what is a complex synesthesia of the senses, able to collect and tell the story, in a rich image of complex meaning - of the taste, memories, values - that Tacco Rosa has bottled.
